amanda & yunting came to my house to bake rock cakes for YTfiesta fundraising.
she bought the chocolate chips for $10!
oh my freaking frog!
we baked, baked & baked and created mess and chaos in th kitchen and the dining area.
we were pleased with our first batch of rock cakes.
but the second batch wasnt very well done. some of them were burnt.
for the 3rd batch, we timed it.
it was so FUN.
we cleaned up the place [ almost all ] and packed the rock cakes into plastic bags of five.
we brought it downstairs and walked to the opposite block to sell it for 1 pack for $2.
our business was like freaking bad larhs.
the last customer was the worst one. i guess all the bad luck was from her.
anyway, this was how it goes :

me, yunting & amanda : hello. excuse me?
(waited for a minute and no one comes out)
(almost walked away when the woman came out)
women : yes?
me, yunting & amanda : would you like to buy some cookies `cause we are doing fundraising for the charity. one pack costs $2.
woman : one of this cost $2?
me, yunting & amanda : yes.
woman : what charity?
me, yunting & amanda : (shrug) erhhs, not sure.
woman : what school are you all from?
me, yunting & amanda : yishuntown
she went in to take the money.
woman : are you all from secondary 2?
me, yunting & amanda : no. sec ones.
woman : you made these all by yourselves?
me, yunting & amanda : yes.
woman : where did you all learn it from?
me, yunting & amanda : out home econs textbook.
woman : actually, if you pack the cookies nicely, not in this kind of plastic bags, you all would do well. for example, if you pack them into boxes, you will sell better.
me, yunting & amanda : (smiles) oh ok.
woman : its just a comment. it looks more presentable in a box. i will help you.
*she takes one $2 note out and hand it to us*
woman : wish you all well.

when me, yunting & amanda walked away, i was so freaking angry larhs.
i said, "one small box costs at least $2 larhs. if she wants box, we increase the price until $5 larhs. she want box issit? i put one cookie on my hand and box her lorhs. then she will have a BOX of cookie." arggs. im so fed-up with the woman.
after her GOOD wishes, no one wants to buy our cookies anymore.

amanda went home.
yunting stayed for about 30mins - 45mins?
we counted our profit and it was damn little.
the profit is even lesser than what you can imagine for a day of hard work!
ARGGS!
